Welcome to the inagural Break the Silence 6K Trail Run! This event will help raise money for the Brett Schmitt Memorial Fund. The Fund was established by his family and friends in his honor at El Camino Real Charter High School, which is designed to establish a preventive program at the school to help students who may be struggling with mental illness. In addition, scholarships will be awarded to cross country and track & field athletes who may be in need of financial assistance.
Race #7 take place at the breathtaking Malibu Creek State Park, located in Malibu/Calabasas, Ca on Saturday May 19, 2018. The event field is limited, so enter early! This is the Grand Mama event:
– 11k This is a challenging and beautiful course that ends with a single track trail. We recently removed a small loop of the course running up to the water tower (one less hill)!
– 22k goes up Bulldog (oh so fun), but what follows is some of the most amazing scenery in Malibu. Please note that the course closes at 11:30 a.m., so you must finish before then!
– 6k is a great introductory trail run with single track and fireroad trails
20th annual Breath of Life Ventura Triathlon/Relay will be held on Sunday, May 20th, 2018 at Ventura Harbor, Ventura, CA. A portion of proceeds from this charity event will go towards the improvement of treatment facility at local hospitals supporting children diagnosed with Primary Immunodeficiency (PI). We encourage athletes to perform their own fundraising in support of this cause.
Welcome and thank you for your interest in The Navy’s 32nd Bay Bridge Run/Walk presented by San Diego Gas & Electric, A Sempra Energy utility, Leidos and the Unified Port of San Diego. This exciting event is hosted by the Navy Region Southwest, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Program. This unique 4-mile run/walk features a spectacular panoramic view as you cross the majestic Coronado Bay Bridge en route to Coronado’s beautiful Tidelands Park. This annual event raises money for Quality of Life Programs for our 500,000+ active duty and retired military, reservists, their family member and civilian employees who make up our San Diego Military Family.
The Orange County Triathlon starts at BEAUTIFUL Lake Mission Viejo. The Duathlon starts with a fast 2K run before joining the triathletes on the bike. The 40K bike course is a gradual climb up Santiago Canyon Road before a fast ride downhill to T2. The 10K run takes you on paths and trails leading you back to cheering crowds at Lake Mission Viejo.
Tracing its roots back to the 1930’s Santa Monica Pier paddleboard races – some of the first in the world – this iconic event offers epic competition and family friendly entertainment. Courses start and finish on the sand immediately south of the Pier and there are many ways to compete – Fun Paddle, Long Course, Elite Race, SUP / Paddleboard Knockout and ocean swimming events. On the Pier Deck and beach, participants and spectators will enjoy the Ocean Festival featuring live music, Polynesian dancing, food, drinks and a one of-a-kind surf history museum.
The Carlsbad Triathlon course begins at Tamarack Surf Beach, and follows the coastline of Carlsbad, past scenic beaches, lagoons and a wildlife preserve. This sprint triathlon boasts a 1k ocean swim, a 25k rolling bike course and a 5k smooth run for the finish.
