Desert Triathlon is the unofficial kickoff to triathlon season. Heading into its 18th year, Desert Triathlon is the perfect race for both the new or beginner triathlon, and the experienced triathlete looking to shake off their winter rust. We’re situated on the calendar as the perfect warmup to several longer distance races, including the 70.3 in Oceanside
Race #6 takes place at Black Mountain Regional Park on April 8, 2018, in the northern San Diego, just east of Del Mar. The event field is limited, so enter early! This course is great for beginners and advanced athletes with plenty of wide fire road trails and some single track sections. Add a couple of twists, turns and a small creek crossing, it’s a great one.
