Welcome to the XTERRA SoCal Trail Run Series!
XTERRA Boney Mountain takes place on January 21, 2018, in Point Mugu State Park, but for this event we start on the northern edge of the park. The start is in RANCHO SIERRA VISTA/SATWIWA NATIONAL PARK in Newbury Park (just west of Thousand Oaks). This event is the Grand Daddy of the series, not for the faint of heart, but if you dare to enter you’ll experience some of the most scenic back country in the Santa Monica Mountains. The 6k is a great intro event with paved roads and singletrack along Upper Sycamore Canyon.
The event field is limited, so enter early. Please note that the course closes at 11:30am, so you must finish before then!
Race #7 take place at the breathtaking Malibu Creek State Park, located in Malibu/Calabasas, Ca on Saturday May 19, 2018. The event field is limited, so enter early! This is the Grand Mama event:
– 11k This is a challenging and beautiful course that ends with a single track trail. We recently removed a small loop of the course running up to the water tower (one less hill)!
– 22k goes up Bulldog (oh so fun), but what follows is some of the most amazing scenery in Malibu. Please note that the course closes at 11:30 a.m., so you must finish before then!
– 6k is a great introductory trail run with single track and fireroad trails
HALF DISTANCE TRIATHLON! 70.3 MILES
The 70.3 Mile HALF DISTANCE course deemed The CVC SAN DIEGO HALF, will provide San Diego triathletes as well as regional, national and international athletes a chance to compete in a longer endurance event. The Half will be limited to 200 athletes so early registration is encouraged.
THIS TRIATHLON IS DESIGNED FOR A WHOLE DAY OF FUN FOR RACERS, FRIENDS AND FAMILIES!
All the courses have been redesigned to make this event Super Athlete and Spectator Friendly. All race distances, the HALF, INTERNATIONAL, SPRINT AND KIDS events will start and finish at Bayside Park on Sunday August 13, 2017. The park will host the Swim Start, the Transition Area, the Hot Lap corners for the run and bike, Expo, Kids Fun Zone, and end with a Beach Party Finish line featuring a Beer Garden and Mexican Food.
The Orange County Triathlon starts at BEAUTIFUL Lake Mission Viejo. The Duathlon starts with a fast 2K run before joining the triathletes on the bike. The 40K bike course is a gradual climb up Santiago Canyon Road before a fast ride downhill to T2. The 10K run takes you on paths and trails leading you back to cheering crowds at Lake Mission Viejo.
