The 35th Annual Highland Y Run is a fundraising event for the Highland Y that offers a scenic 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run/Walk, Family Fun Run and 1/2 Marathon race course stretching throughout the challenging, citrus grove hillsides of Highland.
Every spring we gather together for a morning of family fun and exercise to bring awareness of CHD to the community. Join us at Rancho Cucamonga Central Park as we enjoy music, vendors, giveaways, opportunity drawings and 5K/1K Run/Walk.
Enjoy a flat, scenic course starting at Tecolote Shores Park in Mission Bay. Choose between the 5k, 10k (both chip-timed) or 1-mile-fun run. Cross the finish-line and celebrate at our festival featuring live music, ONEHOPE wine & beer garden, 35+ booths and an awesome kids’ zone with bounce houses, carnival games and arts and crafts.
HALF DISTANCE TRIATHLON! 70.3 MILES
The 70.3 Mile HALF DISTANCE course deemed The CVC SAN DIEGO HALF, will provide San Diego triathletes as well as regional, national and international athletes a chance to compete in a longer endurance event. The Half will be limited to 200 athletes so early registration is encouraged.
THIS TRIATHLON IS DESIGNED FOR A WHOLE DAY OF FUN FOR RACERS, FRIENDS AND FAMILIES!
All the courses have been redesigned to make this event Super Athlete and Spectator Friendly. All race distances, the HALF, INTERNATIONAL, SPRINT AND KIDS events will start and finish at Bayside Park on Sunday August 13, 2017. The park will host the Swim Start, the Transition Area, the Hot Lap corners for the run and bike, Expo, Kids Fun Zone, and end with a Beach Party Finish line featuring a Beer Garden and Mexican Food.
Opportunities for the whole family include: Half Marathon, 2-person Half Marathon Relay, 5K Run/Walk, 1K Kids Fun Run, Diaper Dash, Costume Contest, Charity Challenge, Neighborhood Challenge, Finish Line Festival & Holiday Marketplace, Toy Drive (3,000+ toys collected in 2017) and a Scholarship Program where 80 scholarships were awarded in 2016.
The race features a 5K and 1K Little Gobbler’s run in the majestic topography of Rancho Mission Viejo. Start a new family tradition and join the fun! Proceeds from the race will benefit The Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo connecting Orange County residents to nature through school programs, on-site education and recreation.
